Liberty Sibanda

I hold a PhD from Ghent University on Development of Accelerated platforms for mycotoxin detection. I have >20 publications on mycotoxicology, and the development and application of mycotoxin detection systems in peer reviewed A1 International Scientific Journals. I was involved in the development of rapid testing systems in Ghent to the eventual commercialisation of these technologies in a University Spin-Off. The technology was later transferred to Euro-Proxima BV (NL) where I worked with the responsibility of managing and marketing mycotoxin and drug residue technologies. Later I headed the residue monitoring and control programme in South Africa. At Randox I am responsible for managing product applications on the market as well as coordinating collaborative validations and certifications with third parties.
